I have to be quick tonight because our host family had a surprise birthday party tonight. All the cousins and aunts and uncles were here in this tiny house! Even grandma.

We toured central Santiago today, complete with McDonalds, Pizza Hut, and KFC. We visited a marketplace, and one of our team got robbed! **Traveler’s advisory: even if you keep your money under your clothes, vocational thieves will watch you shop to see where you keep your valuables. Then they’ll snatch or cut your purse at just the right moment with a running start.

In the picture: the capital building, the moneda. This is the same place where President Allende took his last stand against the Dictator Pinochet.

Tomorrow is our last full day of ministry. We will host another Superbowl party (a.k.a. FIFA World Cup), then we’ll have a workshop for Sunday school teachers. Please pray for our communication and advice to be effective. And, of course, that Chile would win! Haha.
